Combo: Wreck / Reef Dept: 55-75 feet (16-23 meter)
This site is named `Cable Reef` because of the boat cables that can be found on this site. The cables, suspended between the coral formations, are covered with colorful sponges and corals. This is a dive site that has it all: a wreck, swim thru’s, reef, the cables and a diverse aquatic life.
The wreck, where we usually start the dive, is the `Teigland`, a 120 ft freighter, the that sank in 1993. There is a lot of life on and around the wreck and the split and collapsed starboard side, makes a great long swim thru. The dive continues along the ridges and swim thru’s of the colorful reef, all the way to `Split Rock`, which is the start of the neighboring site.
