Reef
Depth: 40-50 feet (12-17 meters)
The dive site, not the Sioux Indian Chief from the late 1800’s? Average depth of about 50 feet, this coral reef ridge is found adjacent to the Gregory wreck dive site located off the southwest edge of St Maarten. A great site when the waters closer to the cruise ship pier are rough, and everyone’s stomach needs a break. The water off this part of the island is always calmer, although visibility may be sacrificed for it.

Follow the ridge and chances are you will see sting rays, barracuda, lobsters and maybe a nurse shark sleeping under the ledge.
