Dive Sites

Pool Training

one of the training pools There are quite a few divesites around the island of Sint Maarten. We have sites for beginners that are shallow and sheltered. We have platforms available for training purposes and for trial dives. Divers who need a refresher are also taken to these sites first, if we are not training in a pool.

Of course we also use pools for our training. We have a couple of pools we can use for some of our training other than our free "poolshows". (Poolshows are organized for Hotel guests of the Hotels we allied up with.)

Reef Diving

Reef Diving The second type of dive are reef dives. Our reefs are vaying in depth from 40ft / 12mtr to 75ft / 23mtr and have a lot of interesting marine life housing in and around there as you can see on the marine life pages. St. Maarten can be proud of the state of their corals too!

Drift (Reef) Diving

Drift Diving Maybe you are more of the drift diving type? When the times are right and the weather cooperates, there is drift diving to be enjoyed. We enter the water, descent and let the curent take us along the reef. Nice and relaxed. It's almost like you are propelled by a super silent DPV. Drift dives are always reef dives, so you will be diving one of our reefs doing it.

Wreck Diving

One of the Anchors of the HMS Proselyte, our most famous wreck We also have some interesting wrecks for you to explore. Of course there is the Proselyte a very famous Dutch/English battleship that sank in 1806, leaving us with cannons and anchers. Other than that there are various other wrecks, from small fishing vessels to huge cargo ships. It is all here to be explored for you.

Deep (Wreck) Diving

Deep Wreck Diving at the Fuh Cheng The final options to explore are our deep sites. We have few, but they are there. They might as well be listed under wreck sites, since that is what you will be diving on, but since these wrecks are in 100ft / 30 mtr or more, we have classified them as deep.

Night (Reef) Diving

The most exciting moment to get into the water - Sunset! If you have explored all the options mentioned before or if you are simply a very adventurous person, there is one extra option. This option will not be taking you to unfamiliar sites. It is in fact a normal reef dive. Nice and shallow (50 ft / 15mtr) but there is a difference... It will be pitch black. :)

Please find more information on our dive sites under the submenu for this page.
