Dive Site: `Lucy's Barge'

Lucy's Barge - Another victim of the Man-O-War reef of St. Maarten Reef
Depth range: 15 - 23m (49 - 75ft)

Another victim of the man-of-war reef, Lucy's barge is located close behind the famous HMS Proselyte site. The sunken barge lays scattered around the sandy reef location. As you discover the various parts of the barge that lay hidden around the reef, you may also encounter the local porcupine fish and barracuda's. The many parts of the wreck expose the internal structure, allowing divers to view parts of the barge including the drive shaft and propleller. If you search closely enough you may still find the ships bell.

Likely to see: Porcupine fish, stingrays, grunts, sergents majors.
