Dive Site: `Molly B'day'

Wreck Depth: 20-60 feet (6-18 meters) Ok, despite what it sounds like, this site was definitely not named after a French porcelain bathroom fixture used by a woman named 'Molly'. It is actually one of the more pristine coral reef areas we have as it is located between St Maarten and St Barth’s. The reef encircles a large rock formation (or islet) which juts out of the water to a height of about 30 feet. A great site for a drift dive, as there is no boat mooring available. Jump in, descend and let the current do the work for you! The dive boat picks you up upon surfacing. Depths range from 20 to 60 feet with an average depth of about 40 feet. A similar dive to nearby Cow and Calf, you can pick your depth and follow the circumference of the islet.

It is not uncommon to see lobsters, spotted eagle ray, turtle, and reef or nurse shark all on one dive! A perfect spot for avid underwater photographers. Currents: Max. Depth: Type: Cert.
