PADI Digital Underwater PhotographyDid you ever wonder why all your underwater pictures seem to turn out in shades of blue? Are you always struggling with the fact that your pictures are too dark, too light or not exactly award winning?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty does not make you an advanced photographer in a day. However, it does give you the knowledge, hands on experience and feedback of your instructor, which can then, in return, give you a head start.
During your specialty you will get to know the several functions of the camera you're using and when they are important to use. You will learn about shooting angles, iso, field of focus, macro, rule of thirds, white balance and more tecnical terms that might not mean a lot to you now.

Of course the most exciting part of the course is where you step on one of our boats and you and your instructor go out and take real underwater pictures. At this point you will see that the specialty changed the quality of your pictures.
When you return to the shop, you'll download the pictures to a computer and create a backup for yourself (on CD). If there is time left, your instructor might show you some tricks to further improve the pictures. (or just do funny stuff with them)
