PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor If you are already a PADI Assistant Instructor or you are a diving instructor for another agency, but you want to cross over to the most succesful diving agency in the world, you can sign up for your PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course. In a few days, you will be introduced and familiarized with the full PADI Curriculum while in the mean time your teaching abillity will be polished and your rescue skills will be drilled and shaped into perfection. You will also practise some knowledge development presentations again, so you will be fully prepped to start teaching PADI diving courses. The PADI Instructor Evaluation (IE) To complete your training as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) You will have to also complete a two day PADI Instructor Evaluation (PADI IE) PADI IE's are conducted by PADI Course Directors who, instead of employed by the IDC Center, are employed by PADI. They operate on the same level as your on PADI Course Director, but will conduct an evaluation of your teaching skills that is completely independant from your training. This clearly distinguishes PADI from any other Diving agency and assures for a high quality evaluation. Afterwards it is up to you to become a real successful PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. We provide the tools, you need to use these tools. When can I do PADI OWSI? PADI OWSI courses are organised in conjunction with the PADI IDC's as well as available on request. (minimum 2 candidates)

Structure of the OWSI Course The complete PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course consists of a classroom presentations, a standards exam and a some water work. Your CDC Course Director has created a schedule based on years of experience in the PADI Instructor Development Process and has made sure that the PADI Instructor Level programs are scheduled in a way that allows for maximum comfort and maximum result. Team teach some classes After certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you will be able to teach quite a few PADI Courses We have found in the past that a lot of newly certified PADI OWSI's are not really happy to do this by themselves yet. Although this is very normal (first time is always difficult even after great preparation) we understand this is not a very comfortable situation. The good news is that our instructors are prepared to team teach with you. After you find your first PADI Open Water candidate you can come over and teach this course yourself. One of our instructors will be your assistant during this course to help you cement your foundation. Just let us know and we can schedule you in. Your CDC team is ready whenever you are!
