PADI Ray Rebreather DiverImagine hovering underwater in perfect silence. Imagine hanging perfectly still. Even when you are breathing normally. Fish is no longer scared away by the sound of bubbles when you exhale. You get to apply your Digital Underwater Photography skills and at the social event for your dive team you present the coolest underwater pictures of fish staring into the lens, instead of the fish butt pictures everyone else has to show.
And all this because you are diving a rebreather.
Not only do dive two long dives on a single small tank, without the need for a refill or changing tanks, but you also look kind of cool and get a lot of attention from other divers who are curious about your `space suit`.
Rebreathers do require special training and in no circumstance should anyone be diving a rebreather without being properly trained. The Semiclosed Rebreather that we use is not the most difficult piece of equipment, but safety issues do apply to all of them. Ask your instructor about the details.
So, is it time for you to gear up and try the Ray Rebreather for yourself? Let us know and before you know it, you'll be ready for your first Ray Rebreather experience.
