PADI Specialties

PADI Specialties PADI Specialties are developed to make diving a lot more fun than it already is. Immediately after completing your PADI Open Water Diver Course (or equivalent) you will be able to do quite a number of them. Specialties are compact, small and fairly easy to complete dive courses in a certain area. They do not make you an exprt in the specific area, but they provide you with the foundation to become an expert and the beginning of the road there. Must have specialties Although there are many specialties for you to choose from there are some specialties that are simply a must have for every diver. For example PADI Enriched Air Diver is one of them. Prolong your dives on certain depths because of the use of other breathing gasses. Another one would be PADI Digital Underwater Photographer; a course that changes your blue photographs into something meaningful in a day! A third one, that is often done immediately after completing PADI Open Water Diver, is the PADI PPB specialty. These three specialties are amongst the many you could do at the Caribbean College of Diving. Specialty of the month Every month we have a discount on one of the specialties that we offer. We try to have this more or less in line with the `specialty of the month` that PADI promotes.
